My Proposal Story
We're Not Actual Swingers-
On our first date we went to a park in our hometown. Sat on the swings for hours. Talked about all of the juicy details of life. He knew I was the one. I needed more time to contemplate. It was not long before I was smitten.
We cohabitated, bought a home near said park, but later became vagabonds. For the proposal, we took a road trip so that he could propose in our park. Simple (but meaningful) proposal.
On our 5th wedding anniversary I had a tree planted near the swing set because the traditional gift is wood.

HOW WE MET
We were set up by our best friends when I was home for summer vacation from San Francisco. It was not love at first site by any means. I did happen to find Nate to be one of the funniest people that I had ever met and we soon became the best of friends. After tirelessly asking me out for over a year, I agreed and the rest is history.
