My Proposal Story
It was so wonderful. We were having our first Christmas party at our apartment with some of our friends. We were all just hanging out, when Brandon asks me to open my Christmas present. I was really confused because we had (I thought) agreed to not exchange gifts.. but buy something together for our home. I mentioned that, but he said he got something anyway. I should mention how much I have wanted a digital SLR camera. I've wanted it a long time. Well, as I open the box he gave me, I read the words: Canon Rebel: T1i... and I flipped out. I was so happy.. little did I know. When I had the camera out of the box, after I chattered on and on... Brandon handed me a memory card. (At this point Brandon's brother, Justin turned on a video camera, which I didn't even notice) Brandon handed me the memory card and asked me to check it and make sure there weren't any hunting pictures on it because he didn't want me to delete them. I turned the camera on. The look on my face (Brandon's says) was priceless because the image that I saw was not of any deer.. it was a ring box in our Christmas tree. I looked up, stunned, and Brandon was on one knee. He told me he loved me, and asked me to marry him. Obviously, I said yes! Who wouldn't?
