Emily + James : Vegetarian Art Gallery Wedding
Age 10: We met in Sunday school. I thought he was cute from day one. Age 14: I moved away, knowing we both had junior high crushes on each other. Age 19: I returned to our home town for 24 hours and we rekindled that youthful flame. Age 23: He took me to Hamilton Falls outside Austin, Texas on Valentine's Day for a picnic lunch. This beautiful grotto with a 45 foot waterfall was formed when the dome of an underground river collapsed thousands of years ago, so it is circular in shape. We had to cross around behind the waterfall to get to the picnic spot. Looking out across the water from behind the waterfall, he got down on one knee on the rocks and asked me "to be married with him." After kissing my yes, we picnicked in the perfect sun of the grotto. How much cheesier can you get than childhood sweethearts, under a waterfall on Valentine's Day. It was wonderful, I loved it, and I will never forget it. Age 25: We got married in Seattle in a beautiful, sunlit art gallery with our closes friends and family.

I love experiencing life as much as possible...even if that means looking like an idiot...which it usually does. I have a "mirror face." I'm pretty open to just about anybody because I'm passionate about people. I love to exercise, particularly running. I don't think you can absolutely be sure about anything, but I have strong opinions anyway. I like seeing places, all of the places, and meeting people, all of the people. I strongly value growing up Unitarian Universalist. I love my family deeply. I greatly appreciate my close friends. Being in love is great, it is so full of everything, I like it!
