My Proposal Story
Well...most people know how much Jon and I love the beach. We love to take trips to the beach...no matter what the temperature or weather is like. When Jon suggested we take a ride to the beach after it snowed on New Years Eve Day, I was all for it. On the ride to Spring Lake, I was throwing out ideas of what we could do when we got there. Surf Taco...Mansion Hunting... We pulled up to a parking spot and walked onto the boardwalk. Looking back...Jon was overly excited that there was a gazebo we could stand under to take pictures...We went under the gazebo and I was so excited to take pictures of the beach covered with snow. Jon and I were taking pictures of the snow....of each other...more pictures of the snow...it was so cold so after a while I said "Okay I'm freezing...Let's go!" That is when Jon took both of my hands and said, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you..." My response was "Really!?!?" He laughed and asked, "Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?" of course I said yes! He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!
