My Proposal Story
My fiancé isn't the "romantic, let's plan things out" type. I had been away in El Salvador doing volunteer work for a week. The day he picked me up from the airport he had white roses waiting for me in the car. (He doesn't like to be flashy ha ha). We had plans to go home and freshen up and then go out to dinner. We decided to look at my pictures before dinner so we could just enjoy being together while we ate. While we were looking at pictures and talking about my week in South America he got up and left the room. I was a little confused at this point because he didn't really say anything when he got up. When he came back he had a ring in his hand... and he just simply asked me :-) Again, he's not the romantic; let’s make a big plan type. I loved it, I was so extremely excited that all I could do was smile, laugh and say yes! After we calmed down we went to dinner and told everyone we met that we were getting married:-D
