Grand Getaway
This wine and agriculture region holds annual balloon races over the countryside, and the Limoneira balloon is always a favorite! We jumped at the opportunity for onsite rides, such amazing views!

Best Foot Forward
My sister and Matron of Honor helped get my shoes on that morning, and just about everything else. Finding your feet in a wedding gown is harder that I'd thought!

Delicate Details
Ryan and I went with light gray suits to bring out the earthy green tones, including houndstooth pattern ties in green clover. They helped the delicate orange and peach boutonnieres stand out.

Star of the Show
I was OBSESSED with my bouquet by Twig & Twine! We went for something romantic but wild, with variations of greenery. An assortment of peach and white florals really helped the orange blooms pop.

California Cool
Limoneira is such a unique venue, with multiple locations for weddings of all types, like the lemon loading docks pictured here. The staff is friendly and has that signature, laid back SoCal vibe.

Golden Girls
I wanted my bridesmaids, including my four sisters, to be super comfortable. So they each picked out a dress in a style they loved. We stuck with varying green tones for our outdoor location.

Take Your Seat
My sister designed our paper suite, including a succulent pattern for detail pieces. She also created this moss and twine display to battle the sunset breeze. Fall persimmons finished off our table.

Garden Details
My sister's designs carried a succulent border and S+R monogram through our invitations, and paper details. I assembled and hand addressed the invites, using vintage seed packet stamps to finish.

Ceremony in the Foothills
The citrus orchard view of the foothills takes your breath away, while the mountain breezes kept our ceremony cool. Guests sat in the bocce courts, which also made for great cocktail hour gaming!

Little Readers
I love the way Annie captured the golden sunset light over our ceremony. Here the two oldest (of 10!) of our nieces and nephews read 'I Like You', by Sandol Stoddard Warburg.

Love in the Air
Our flower girls wore ruffles with cowboy boots, our ring bearers wore suit jackets, jeans and bright floral ties. Jack and Riley here were born ten days apart and are clearly best buds.

Bride and Groom
After our ceremony, we chased the light for these beautiful sunset portraits in the citrus orchard.

S+R
This was my favorite shot, right after the ceremony ended and we went off for a moment alone. The scenery was so beautiful as the sun went behind the mountains, and Annie captured it all for us.

Dinner in the Orchard
I loved the idea of dinner under the stars and string lights from wedding planning day one. The orchard was the perfect place for a fall color palette, and the citrus trees smelled amazing all night.

Rustic Romance
I ordered rustic wood table numbers online and Heather covered our tables with twinkling votives and vibrant arrangements in varied clear and amber glass botles and vases.

Touch of Fall
We wanted fall colors but non-traditional florals. Heather used persimmons and amber glass to bring in the fall with a California feel. Kiwi napkins and natural linens kept our palette warm.

Vintage Settings
Over our year and a half engagement, I collected mismatched vintage salad and dessert plates. Combined with custom menus and persimmons, they created interesting indiviual settings for each guest.

Signatures
My somethings borrowed included a beautiful emerald and diamond ring from my sister in law, and my Grandmother's mink. Our guests enjoyed Kohler wines, plus signature Kentucky Bucks and Moscow Mules.

The Sweet Stuff
I Would Rather be Baking built our spread of Bailey's Irish Cream cake, mini pecan, apple and lemon custard pies, plus dark chocolate and chipotle brownies, all displayed on colored vintage glass.

First Dance
A dance floor with hundreds of string lights really brought the romance for our first dance, a mashup of 'Just Like Heaven' by The Cure and 'Easy Like Sunday Morning' by the Commodores.
