Finger Lakes Winery Wedding
Wedding date: 5/28/2011
Wedding location:  New York
After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed an intimate photo shoot at the Glenora vineyard. Glenora is located on Seneca Lake amidst lush vineyards and unique wineries. The couple chose this location because they are both avid wine lovers and frequently take wine tours around the Finger Lakes. Kevin proposed to Monica at a smaller winery a few miles away.

An intimate shot of the bride and groom shortly after the ceremony. Monica DIY'd the bouquets and boutineers. The white roses were wrapped in lapis colored ribbon, to match the bridesmaids' dresses. The bride carried her grandmother's rosary (who passed away one week before the wedding) wrapped around her bouquet.

The priest asked Monica and Kevin to stop and take a moment to look each other in the eyes... soak it all in. He said "Fifty years from now, when you look back on your life together... may today be the day you loved each other the least"

Saying their vows. The bride's dress (Casablanca 1859 in white) and cathedral length drop veil (from Occansey Designs) look amazing in this shot. The groom wore a tuxedo from Tuxedo Junction with a silver vest and tie.

For the bride and groom's grand exit from the church, guests shot off streamers and blew "bubble kisses for the new Mr. & Mrs."

Table centerpieces included a DIY project of Monica's, wine bottles that were filled with corks and purple rose petals, as well as candles and scattered wine corks to compliment the beautiful winery venue.

In addition to the traditional "First dance"... the bride and groom also shared a "Last dance". The DJ, Ken Paradise from Paradise Entertainment (who also provided the gorgeous uolighting), played Tim McGraw's "My Best Friend" while Kevin and Monica spent the last moments of their reception in each other's arms, surrounded by family and friends. A truly romantic and bittersweet way to end the perfect evening.
