An afternoon, garden wedding

The bridal party wore olive green, tea-length dresses. The green was tied in with the groomsmen's boutonnieres and the hangings on the gazebo.

The lavender bouquets made the trip down the aisle smell wonderful, and the lanterns doubled as centerpieces for the reception. The lavender motif was repeated in the bride's bouquet and in her hair.

The gazebo decoration was done by the florist, who very accurately described the bride's desired effect as "a Renaissance/Shakespeare festival feeling".

The groomsmen wore charcoal grey, pinstriped, morning suits; the grey tied in with the bridesmaid's shoes which were of the same color.
