Sandy Lane Farm
464 Carlisle Street
Information for Our Guests
I always thought an outdoor wedding would be awesome, so when we heard about a private venue on a farm near Southampton, we decided to check it out. We had heard many good things about Sandy Lane Farm, and when the snow finally melted and we got a chance to visit, we loved it right away! It's becoming a pretty popular venue, and despite booking it about 15 months in advance, we still just snagged their last available date in July 2014! Phew!
Our wedding ceremony will be held at the farm in front of a willow tree if the weather cooperates, or in the barn if it rains. After the ceremony there will be drinks and some appetizers to tide you over until dinner. If you want to relax, you can sit down in the shade of the tent, or in any of the seating areas on the grounds of Sandy Lane. If you would prefer to pass your time more actively, there will be lawn games set up, such as bocce ball, ladder ball, and Texas horseshoes. We want you to have fun and be comfortable while we have our pictures taken!
At 6:00pm, a delicious buffet-style dinner will be served, followed by dessert. After the formalities are taken care of, the REAL fun will begin on the dance floor! There will also be a special midnight snack to satisfy the inevitable munchies ;)
Driving Directions / Transportation
If you don't want to worry about having a few drinks, fear not! We will be offering a bus service that will pick up and drop off in Kincardine and Port Elgin. There will be an early drop off time and a late drop off time. We will let you know the exact pick up and drop off times closer to the big day. Now you can enjoy your evening without a care in the world :)
