The bride and groom exchanged vows on the deck of Lindsay’s childhood home near the Roaring Fork River at 2:31 -- a Jewish tradition. “While our ceremony wasn’t religious, there were still little touches of family tradition and luck incorporated in,” says the bride.

Taylor proposed to Lindsay by baking nearly 12 dozen mini-cupcakes and using them to spell out “Will you marry me?” on the floor. “After an all-cupcake proposal, we knew that we had to have a cupcake wedding cake,” says the bride.

The Bride Lindsay Landis, 25 and self-employed, she runs PurrDesign.com and PatternandPaw.com The Groom Taylor Hackbarth, 27 and self-employed, he also runs PurrDesign.com and PatternandPaw.com The Date June 27 Lindsay and Taylor wanted a casual, down-to-earth style for their backyard wedding, so they chose a turquoise, black and white color combo and worked the bride's obsession with ampersands (she's a graphic designer) into the details.
