It was fitting to place the bride and groom's rings on top of a pile of lemons, because of the "Lemons to Lemonade" theme the entire wedding had.

404 NYC's space is very modern and has a streamlined, white appearance. All that the wedding planner had to do was add a few colorful accents here and there to make the design aesthetic pop.

"Afterward, people kept referring to our wedding as the most fun 'party' they had ever been to. The actual wedding day was far better than what reBar could have given us," Ashleigh says.

Eric and Ashleigh wanted guests to use a specific hashtag on Instagram to commemorate their event, so they created a sign so all guests would know what to use.

Ashleigh and Eric shied away from a traditional sit-down dinner in favor of a more party-like atmosphere. So, plenty of appetizers kept guests happy.

Ashleigh & Eric in Manhattan, NY

Even though their original venue (reBar in Brooklyn, NY) fell through, Ashleigh and Eric got to celebrate their wedding in a way that was totally "them." Couples affected by the closing of the Brooklyn venue reBar were left with very few options for their marriages. But, a few vendors in addition to sponsorship from Little Red Bean Productions and TheKnot.com, made it possible for Ashleigh and Eric's wedding to be entirely donation-based.The theme of the wedding giveaway was "Lemons to Lemonade," a play on making bad situations much better and dealing with life's issues. Bright yellow flowers, lemonade favors and a few other little touches made the new venue, 404 NYC, the perfect place to celebrate with friends and family. "Winning this wedding has put my faith back into strangers. We couldn't be more thrilled and honored to be the lucky recipients," Ashleigh says.
