“I grew up on Cape Cod, so I always wanted to be married on the water,” Lisa says
of their choice of locale.

During cocktail hour, guests noshed on sushi, lobster sliders and fresh oysters from the raw bar.

“The huppah and terrace perfectly framed the many sailboats that floated by during the ceremony,” Lisa recalls.
“With such incredible natural, ambient beauty, we didn’t want to overdesign and steal from the location.

The sushi bar was a crowd favorite during the cocktail hour.

The centerpieces were low vintage wooden boxes filled with roses, succulents, seeded eucalyptus, thistle, spider dahlias, dusty miller and grasses. “I loved the soft and low-key, yet lush, feeling of all the pink and white tones offset with the earthier colors of the vintage boxes, burlap and gold,” Lisa says.

cake was finished with ombré gum paste petals.

The couple sent guests home with locally made pickles, in honor of their dog Mr. Pickles. (He made a cameo on the favor tags!)
