Lindsay and Michael got married on the resort’s spa lawn. They created a backdrop for the ceremony using two antique doors, which were decorated with pink flowers and pale pink fabric.

The cocktail hour took place off the resort’s indoor pool and out onto the lawn. Pastel plaid linens covered the cocktail tables, which were decorated with arrangements of peonies, astilbe, tulips, and seeded eucalyptus in birch containers.

When they were dating during high school Michael once told Lindsay that he wished they’d met when they were 25 rather than 17. Though their relationship ended when Lindsay moved to Texas for college and Michael stayed in Pennsylvania, they still talked every once in a while. It had been a couple of years since they’d seen each other when Lindsay was flying to Philadelphia to visit one of their mutual friends, who couldn’t pick her up at the airport. So she called Michael. At 11:30 p.m. when Lindsay’s flight landed, Michael was there. They started kissing in the middle of the airport and have been back together since then (both a few months shy of turning 25).
