Guests found their table assignments at the club’s entryway. Zena and her made business-card size cards, stamped them with a gold decal, and hand-wrote guests’ names and table numbers.

Zena and Lance met when they stayed in the same camp at Burning Man (a week-long festival out in the desert in Nevada) in 2003. The Bride Zena Harvill, 31 and is studying at UCSF to be a pediatric nurse practitioner The Groom Lance Kizer, 40 and is a scientist at Amyris The Date March 21 Rather than sticking to a specific color palette, Zena and Lance let the Montclair Club take center stage. For the reception, they picked golden orange linens to contrast the club’s cool blue ballroom.
