In search of a unique spot, Lauren and Dan took their photographers’ suggestion to check out The Bubble Room at Vinology, where hundreds of handblown glass bubbles hang from the ceiling.

The couple bought a poster frame with openings for pictures and slotted in table assignments. Then they filled the leftover spots with photos from their grandparents’ weddings.

The Bride Lauren Malatesta, 30, a senior project manager at ePrize The GroomDan Trenz, 33, a senior web developer at Rovi Corporation The Date May 7 Lauren came up with the contemporary color palette (gray, teal, chartreuse and red) while flipping through a CB2 catalog. It fit their art museum location, the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA), where they knew they wanted to have the wedding before they even got engaged.
