Molly didn't really want a cake, so she asked her mother to choose one. The result was a white, two-tiered confection decorated with a bow and brooch that matched the bride's dress.

Graeme’s four groomsmen wore succulent boutonnieres on the lapels of their gray suits. “We asked them to wear gray with white shirts and jewel-tone ties,” recalls Molly. “They looked great!”

After a number of failed attempts to find her dream gown, Molly ended up with two dresses she liked, both by Carolina Herrera. “I probably tried them
both on 10 times. At the end of the day, the dress I went with just felt more special,” she says. “I loved the big bow and felt good in it. It was perfect.”

Large antique urns filled with white roses, hydrangeas and calla lilies complemented the ceremony space without competing with the bold architecture.

The menu was printed on a dark purple card with a fun bistro light drawing along the top -- a subtle nod to the lights that were hung outside on the patio.

Molly's bridesmaids chose their own black dresses for the celebration. "They are all different and each have a distinct sense of style, so never in a million years would I have wanted them to wear the same dress," she says. The groomsmen wore gray suits with jewel-tone ties.

“The Cruz Building used to be
a restaurant and I’ve always been a fan of its interior,” Molly says. “It has three floors, so we could house the whole event in one place and move from floor to floor throughout the evening.”
