Brown micro-suede table linens and yellow satin napkins complemented the dark wood inside the lodge. Rather than using elaborate centerpieces, the couple decorated each table with understated spheres of baby's breath.

To celebrate their weakness for sweets, Lindsay and Drew served eight different buttercream frosted cakes in a variety of flavors. The couple cut into a coconut cake topped with a feathered bird they had found in a thrift store.

Lindsay and Drew made a good team even before they started dating. They literally swam into each other's lives their freshman year, while on the Duke University swim team. They spent a lot of time together at practice and eventually started dating. After nine years together they knew they would be married and had even started shopping for rings. "I knew exactly what it was and said yes," says Lindsay. The couple lives in California and Drew's family lives on the east coast, so they decided to meet in the middle with a destination wedding in Colorado.
