Meagan's bouquet included red poppies, something that is not very easy to find in Mexico but the florist made sure to find them for the bouquet.

Scott wanted to give the groomsmen flasks as their gift and provided them with matching ties for the wedding. It was Meagan’s idea to wrap the ties around the flasks.

Meagan and Scott wrote their own vows for their ceremony. Meagan’s aunt married them on a beautiful afternoon with the beach as their background.

Meagan and Scott didn’t want to take away from the beautiful background, so they chose white tablecloths and decided to keep the tables simple. The couple highlighted the area with Chinese lanterns and accents in vibrant colors.

Meagan only had one request for the wedding cake, white. She left the rest up to the caterers who came up with this beautiful 3 layer cake with flowers cascading down the side.

They danced under the stars on the beach to oldies and hits but their first dance was to “You are the best thing” by Ray LaMontagne.

Meagan & Scott in Punta Mita, Mexico

Meagan and Scott had met briefly through a mutual friend but it was on a 7.5 mile hike, which Meagan had no idea that Scott would be attending, that they realized there was something special. On a special trip to Salzburg, Austria, on a peaceful walk along the Salzach River Scott proposed.

With family all over the world their wedding was going to be a destination wedding for many so they decided to make a vacation for everyone out of it and decided to get married in Mexico. With the perfect dress, the welcome bags and the laid back atmosphere they created a vacation to enjoy for all.
