Patricia & Michael in New York, NY

The Bride Patricia Kelly, 25, a graduate student at Columbia University The Groom Michael Dunne, 36, an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch The Date August 6 Although a classic New York venue was top on their priority list, Patricia and Michael worried that some of the city’s notable ballrooms would end up feeling too vast. Instead, they chose the St. Regis for its grand setting that still felt intimate. The couple planned the wedding themselves, using a color palette of pink and champagne to highlight the ornate gilding of the hotel’s ceiling and moldings.
