The rings were held in a small wooden ring box made from a tree branch. The couple's initials were engraved in the top of the box. During the ceremony, they initiated a ring-passing where each guest  was able to hold the box with the rings for a few moments and wish the newlyweds well.

Colorful, quirky floral arrangements and a cherry red typewriter gave the entry table a fun, fresh touch. Bright pennants and a big, scrolling typeface personalized a weathered old chalkboard.

Grace's mother arranged all of the floral centerpieces for the reception using flowers she and Andrea had bought at the flower market earlier that day. Each arrangement was placed in a vintage vase Grace's mother had collected in the months leading up to the wedding.

Andrea & Grace in Brooklyn, New York

While planning their 10-year anniversary party, Andrea (31 and a portfolio manager for a social venture fund) and Grace (32 and a senior group manager for Target.com) suddenly decided a wedding made more sense. So the design-minded duo curated a one-of-a-kind day ar a former brass foundry and filled it with an eclectic mix of their favorite things.
