Nelly & Michael in Pescadero, California

"The inspiration for our color palette came from a camping trip in central Alaska in the fall," Nelly says of her northern California wedding to husband Michael. "I saw such beautiful natural tones in the dark red, wild cranberries, gold autumn leaves, blueberries and green moss that I wanted to interweave into our fall wedding. This woodland autumn theme also carried through into the little wool mushrooms I hand felted for the table centerpieces, inspired by the colorful mushrooms found in the woods in Alaska. I wanted our wedding to have an organic, natural and simple style. We also wanted our wedding to have a relaxed feel with delicious local food and good music."
