The cocktail hour was held outside where guests could enjoy panoramic views of the river while sipping on drinks. The cocktail tables were covered in neutral linens. Silver mercury glass votive candles and bud vases filled with pink roses and lamb's ear topped each table.

White pillar candles housed in metal lanterns hung on peach and pink ribbons from oak trees. Once the sun went down, the candles emitted a warm, romantic glow.

The reception tables had a simple, elegant feel with white linens, burlap runners, silver mercury glass votive candle holders and cheerful floral arrangements.

The reception was held under a tent positioned between the river and the Lowndes estate. Bistro lighting and uplighting in fun blues and purples provided plenty of light that kept guests dancing as the sun went down.
