The reception took place on the 27th floor, Altitude Room, of the W Hotel, Midtown Atlanta, which provided guests with a beautiful panoramic view of the Atlanta skyline. The raspberry table linens stood out against the black décor throughout the reception room.

Instead of table numbers, Rosaleen and Yoshi decided upon table cards that depicted cities and countries that they visited in Asia. Each card included a fun fact about each place and some information about their adventures while visiting the area.

Yoshi and Rosaleen wanted the cake to have a “pop” of color. They chose a four layer buttercream cake with dark raspberry ribbon and a strawberry cream filling for a “surprise” pop of color on the inside.

After eight months of searching for a dress that was “a mermaid dress with ruffles”, one of the bridesmaids stumbled upon this Essence of Australia gown. When Rosaleen saw it she knew it was “the one”. The Groom, Yoshi, wore a black suit and a Seiko watch, Japan exclusive, that the bride gave to him as an engagement gift.

Rosaleen & Yoshi in Atlanta, GA

Yoshi and Rosaleen met through mutual friends at a comedy show. That night they realized that they had similar life goals and interests. Five years later Yoshi proposed to Rosaleen in Tokyo, Japan.

Rosaleen and Yoshi planned their wedding in Atlanta while living in Singapore. They were able to showcase their Japanese and Taiwanese heritage by incorporating folding fans and lucky cats amongst many other things.
