Renuka and John had two weddings. One was a traditional Indian Hindu wedding, and the other was a typical Christian ceremony and reception. Both events took place at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis, Missouri.

For their Christian ceremony, the bride wore a tiered lace bridal gown and her bridesmaids wore purple dresses. Groomsmen donned matching tuxedos with bowties.

The couple had two ceremonies. One was a traditional Hindu ceremony and the other was a traditional Christian ballroom ceremony.

Inside the opera house, the couple used lighting and metallics to create the lush, elegant purple atmosphere.
