Carly and David's invitation suite was designed by Alisa Bobzien. They used Art Deco and honeycomb patterns as well as a coral, white and gray/silver color palette. Botanical details were also incorporated to connect to the couple's venue.

The couple wanted a non-traditional venue space for their wedding. Planterra was the perfect location for the couple, who loved both the idea of the unique, organic space with its lush gardens, dramatic glass ceiling and it's outdoor vibe.

A schedule of events in a warm coral color used playful graphics and Art Deco-inspired typeface to give guests an overview of the evening.

A stone archway decorated with lush green wreaths stood at the entryway to the event. Potted plants and glass hurricane vases with floating candles helped to create a modern Tuscan vibe.

Long, dark wooden farm tables were set with elegant ivory table runners, gold china and bright floral arrangements for a timeless, sophisticated look.

Carly and David had their own table, which they covered with simple white linens, golden place settings, mercury glass vases filled with bright red flowers and a scattering of mercury glass votive candle holders.

Lush greenery and bright blooms like roses, ranunculuses and dahlias were arranged in elegant golden bowl vases that complemented the timeless sophistication of each tablescape.

Keeping with the Art Deco theme, Carly and David chose gold accented china with a 1930's style pattern, which they paired with gold-toned linens. The menu cards were designed in the same style as the escort cards with modern honeycomb motifs and coral Art Deco and script fonts.

As a nod to David's beekeeping pass time, the couple had each layer of their fondant cake designed in a honeycomb pattern. Bright ranuncluses, Carly's favorite flower, in warm oranges and yellows added a fresh pop of color to the ivory cake.

Carly and David wanted their first dance to be to a fun and soulful song, so they chose Aretha Franklin's "Baby I Love You."

Guests took home homemade honey, which David harvested from his bees in the months prior to the wedding. They placed the honey in 2 oz jars, designed with a special label for the wedding.

Carly and David held their Art Deco-inspired wedding at the Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield. They used lots of gold touches, bright blooms and lots of candle light to transform the organic space into a dramatic, elegant soiree with timeless appeal.
