Christina originally wanted a tea-length dress, but ended up with a floor-length gown made entirely of lace. "It ended up being perfect, especially because (without realizing it) the lace and veil were a nod to my Cuban heritage," she says.

“We chose flowers that would match the theme—cream, white, pink and gray—and wrapped everything in burlap for a rustic, romantic touch,” Tina says. She carried cream and ivory roses, white freesia, gray brunia berries and seeded eucalyptus in her bouquet. The centerpieces had hydrangeas, roses, brunia berries and eucalyptus.

The reception decor was kept clean and simple, with birch tea light candles and low birch containers of green hydrangeas, cream, ivory and pale pink roses and gray brunia berries. "We kept the centerpieces low for better table visibility for our guests," says Christina.

“We had super-cute cake toppers that I purchased from Etsy that were made to look like us,” Tina says.
