During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed games of bag toss and ladder golf (built by the groom’s father) and sipped on the signature drink: lemonade with a hint of vanilla.

In addition to having guests leave pictures from the photo booth, Jessica and Michael asked their guests to leave a word of advice for them.

Michael and his father made several wooden boxes labeled with the couple’s name and wedding date. The boxes were filled with hydrangeas and used as decor in the ceremony and reception.

Boxes filled with white hydrangeas were moved from the ceremony aisle to the dinner tables for the reception. The arrangements were surrounded by vintage books, fruit and mason jars filled with a few flowers.
