When the couple visited The Mountain House and saw the amazing view overlooking Keene Valley, they knew it was the right place. They used a branch pergola and draped 20 feet of lemon leaf garland on it.

Whitney and Adam's sisters and friends tied burlap sashes to every other chair. Potted arrangements created by Adam’s mom Andi sat on either side of the pergola.

"When I spoke to the florist, I had one request: eucalyptus. It was special because it reminded me of Santa Barbara, and it looks gorgeous in bouquets. She honored my request, and the bouquets were lovely!"

Adam's mother, Andi, brought in hop flowers she harvested from her garden and had the florist create the boutonnieres. Adam is an accomplished home brewer so this was a special nod to him.

Adam’s cousin gifted the couple a hand-painted wooden sign with their names and wedding date, which hung above the dessert table. Log serving tiers made by Whitney's dad and vintage cake stands from grandmothers on both sides held various tarts and mini pies.

Each bridesmaid chose her own short purple dress with neutral shoes. The groomsmen wore dark brown suits with forest green vests.
