At the end of the ceremony, Dan (who is half Jewish) explained the Jewish custom of breaking a glass at the ceremony. When he stomped on it, everyone shouted "mazel tov," including the priest.

The wedding party and Candace and Dan's parents traveled via trolley. After the ceremony, they drove around and took pictures before heading to the reception.

To spruce up their CD favors, Dan drew a tree growing out of a heart, which he and Candace turned into a stamp and pressed onto the recycled CD sleeves.
