The cake had 3 layers with alternating designs – swirls on the tops and bottom layers, and dots on the middle layer with plum ribbon at the base of each layer. The couple chose chocolate dipped strawberries one dipped in white chocolate and one dipped in milk chocolate for the cake topper.

Jenni and Brandon chose long, thin slate programs on ivory cardstock with plum print. One side featured all of the ceremony information, while the other featured a monogram that the designer created for the couple. Jenni and Brandon dated since high school, and dated six years before Brandon proposed during Jenni's final year in college. Brandon surprised Jenni with tickets to one of their favorite bands, Jimmy Eat World. After the concert, Brandon pulled out the ring!

Jenni and Brandon went with a vintage romantic theme for their wedding day and were inspired by Jenni's love for vintage and antique items. Antiques were used throughout the reception and the the couple dedicated the guest book display to a variety of unique vintage items, including a typewriter, train cases, cake plates, cameras, books, and French windowpanes with their engagement pictures strung up along them.
