Emalie had mixed feelings about Jonathan the first time she met him. Jonathan was a singer in a local band, and since Emalie was into the music scene, she knew who he was—and thought he was a bit cocky. It wasn’t until their first date that her perception changed. Jonathan had planned to take her to a movie, but it was sold out, so they walked through a bookstore and ended up having a conversation that changed Emalie’s view of him as a “typical” band guy.
