Alicia & Nate in Detroit, MI

Two years after meeting through an Internet dating site, Nate Landesman surprised Alicia Bennett with a romantic weekend trip to Chicago. The couple stopped for dinner at a sushi place they both loved, and as Alicia remembers, "Nate opened up about how happy he was and how the only thing that would make the night even more perfect was if I would be his wife! I was so surprised, and I thought my heart would explode." The Bride Alicia Bennett, 26, pharmaceutical representative The Groom Nate Landesman, 31, physician The Date March 6 The biggest surprise was still to come, though. "We sent in an essay to be entered to win the Channel 7 Detroit Dream Wedding and won!" says Alicia. Winning the contest gave the couple the opportunity to host an elaborate affair for their 100 guests, with every detail attended to. "The planners took a few of our ideas and ran with them and really made it a dream wedding for the two of us," she says.
