Allison carried a round bouquet of yellow roses with red tips. She attached her grandmother’s wedding band as her “something old” and a baby bracelet that had belonged to her father as her “something blue” to the red and gold ribbon that wrapped the stems.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets made up of roses, mini calla lilies, and mini gerbera daisies and accented with spray roses and coffee beans. Their bouquets were wrapped with yellow satin ribbon to contrast Allison’s.

Josh’s mom, a sewing instructor, hand-made the satin ring pillow herself. She embroidered the couple’s names and wedding date in red and bedazzled it with a baseball.

Allison and Josh incorporated their baseball theme into their invitations. The invites, which Allison designed, included one of their engagement pictures -- the two of them over home plate -- and an “M” for Josh’s last name inside a baseball diamond. They also introduced a cute slogan for the wedding: “In your arms…I’m safe at home.”

Another picture from the couple’s engagement photo session appeared on the table name cards. Allison and Josh named each table after a location that has special meaning to them, and each card explained the reason why it they chose it.

Allison has lots of school pride for the University of Southern California, where she went to college, so she and Josh chose cardinal red and gold as their wedding colors.

In lieu of a traditional guest book, Allison and Josh asked their guests to sign a custom baseball jersey with the number 11 on it to signify their November wedding month. Allison and Josh’s four-tiered, white buttercream-iced cake was decorated with cardinal red ribbon to match the wedding’s color palette. Their topper was a custom-printed baseball.

As a thank-you to her bridesmaids, Allison gave them mixed CDs with songs that reminded her of each one of them. She designed the CD sleeves in her wedding colors.

If Allison hadn’t decided to ride the mechanical bull at a bar where she was hanging out with her friends one night, Josh might not have noticed her and waited by the gate for her to come out. When she did, he offered to buy her a drink, but her friends were a little suspicious, so he offered to get her a water or soda instead. With Allison’s friends’ approval, the two exchanged numbers and went on their first date a week later. After more teasing, Josh interrupted the discussion, walked over to where Allison was sitting, got down on one knee, and proposed.
