Jen’s four bridesmaids wore matching, floor-length Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses in purple. “I made sure to get their full approval before selecting it!” Jen says.

“I wanted to wear something that fit the grandeur of the event and venue,” says Jen. She found the one at Alfred Angelo bridal salon in LA. The strapless ball gown is one of the Disney Fairy Tale designs (the Sleeping Beauty gown) and the layers of tulle and lace with lots of crystal beading made it the perfect design for their elegant venue.

The Ferragamo shoes that Jen wore under her wedding dress were a purchase that the couple made together while shopping on Rodeo Drive. After he found a pair of Ferragamos for his tux, he insisted that she get a matching pair. “How could I say no to that?” Jen says.

Pink roses and purple vanda orchids made up Jen’s pretty bridal bouquet. The stems were wrapped in gold ribbon and tied off with a daisy crystal accent (in honor of Jen’s mom, Daisy).

The couple exchanged vows beneath a modern center structure. It was draped in ivory accents, clear round circular shapes, flowers and crystals. Instead of the traditional two rows, seating was arranged in a circle around the couple.

Jen is an avid USC fan, so she had to make sure her favorite team was represented. The ice luge was set up at the bar so that guests could fill their glasses with ice cold cocktails from the open bar.

“We wanted the theme to be subtle yet romantic,” Jen says. The room came together with soft purple linens and gold chiavari chairs.

The cake was a true reflection of the couple’s style: decorated with a light gray damask pattern and quilted Swiss dots. Bright red sugar flowers finished it off.

Jennifer & Samuel in Hollywood, CA

Two years after having met in a club in Las Vegas, Samuel proposed to Jennifer on the ferris wheel in Santa Monica.

The Date August 27

Jennifer knew the W Hollywood was the perfect spot for their nuptials. When it came to choosing a color scheme, the couple was a little split. Sam’s favorite sports team is the LA Lakers, so he figured their colors should be purple and gold. On the other hand, Jen’s team is the USC Trojans, so she wanted cardinal red and gold. They compromised: the ceremony and reception were purple and gold, while the cocktail reception (in the foyer) was awash in cardinal red and gold.
