Kristi and Adam bought saplings and wrapped them in cool blue-and-green fabric for their guests. The couple even snagged a few to plant in the yard of their first home!

Though they had known each other for a couple of years, Kristi and Adam didn’t exchange numbers until a mutual friend’s birthday party. And though friends affectionately ribbed them because of their dramatic difference in heights (she’s 5-foot-3, he’s 6-foot-8), Kristi and Adam knew they were the perfect fit. The Bride Kristi Harbin, 29, hospice social worker The Groom Adam Schwegman, 29, commercial leasing representative The Date April 25 Several years later, Adam planned a surprise getaway in the quaint community of Serenbe, where they biked and relaxed all weekend. Adam proposed after a hike to a small waterfall. Then he surprised Kristi again with lunch with her parents. The couple soon began planning an intimate, green-themed celebration in the bride’s hometown of Atlanta.
