Mike Mahon confesses to having butterflies in his stomach when a friend told him that he had met the girl for him. "Of course, he was also 100 feet off the ground on a chairlift," recalls Andrea DeLuca, the dream girl in question. But Mike’s gut reaction proved more than right: When the couple met for their first date, there was instant chemistry. Six months later, Mike brought a custom-designed engagement ring (combining elements of three other rings he knew Andrea liked) with him on a trip to Italy with Andrea and two mutual friends. The Bride Andrea DeLuca, 34, cardiology project manager The Groom Mike Mahon, 39, residential builder The Date August 27 Andrea and Mike's wedding combined clean contemporary style with vintage elegance. Simple, modern invitations, table settings, and bridesmaid dresses were combined with romantic rose bouquets, classic historic settings, and one seriously fabulous wedding gown.
