Angela first spotted Michael on stage when she went to see her roommate perform in a play. Mutual friends set them up, and their first date came soon after -- on Valentine’s Day. In early July of that year, they took a weekend getaway to Malibu and stayed at the same hotel where they’d celebrated their two-year anniversary. They took a walk on the beach before dinner, and on the way back, Michael proposed. Originally the couple had wanted an intimate wedding at an Irish castle, but money and travel were big issues for a lot of their guests.
