The couple opted to have a Western ceremony. The altar was adorned with hydrangeas, white roses, and calla lilies intertwined and placed on large cylinder vases filled with water to avoid obstructing the view. A white runner marked the aisle and was accented with scattered white rose petals.

Ann & Yuki in Seattle, WA

Sparks were flying when Ann and Yuki met one summer at Fireworks, a store in Bellevue Square. Yuki thought Ann was Japanese (she’s half-Korean) and cute, so he struck up a conversation and asked her out. The Bride Ann Hui Schmidt, 29, research scientist The Groom Yukinori Morishita, 34, software development engineer The Date August 23 One autumn day two years later, Yuki proposed to Ann with a gorgeous engagement ring. Though they were living in Los Angeles at the time, the couple planned an intimate affair for 20 at a restaurant in Seattle -- their future hometown.
