Anna carried a cream-colored bouquet of hydrangeas and roses accented with green hypericum berries. The stems were tied off with a white silk ribbon.

Anna's five bridesmaids wore black knee-length dresses in various styles from J.Crew and carried clusters of blue hydrangeas, which were hand-tied with brown ribbon.

As a graphic designer, Anna enjoyed creating all the wedding day stationery. The programs were simple white cards accented with brown and blue-patterned paper and tied off with a brown ribbon.

Anna and Chris' ceremony took place on a large lawn outside the resort. The couple stood beneath an arbor overlooking the mountains at sunset.

Anna created the escort cards and pinned them to a giant bulletin board, which was covered in the same fabric used for the table runners. Chris' mother made small pincushions out of the same fabric so that guests had a place to put their pins after removing their cards.

The tables at Anna and Chris' reception were covered in brown and blue-patterned fabric. In lieu of flowers, the couple used candles in mason jars as centerpieces.

Anna and Chris' wedding cake was a three-tiered confection covered in white buttercream and topped with white sugar flowers. A decorative birdcage with two lovebirds served as a cake topper.

The couple chose "Danny's Song" by Kenny Loggins for their first dance as a married couple.

After dating Anna for five years, Chris knew he had to come up with something extra romantic for his college sweetheart. The Bride Anna Williams, 27, graphic designer The Groom Chris Benifield, 30, project manager The Date September 2 So when the two decided to take their first trip together to Europe, Chris seized the opportunity. While enjoying a dinner cruise down the Seine in Paris, the boat stopped just beside the Eiffel Tower, cuing Chris' bended knee proposal. "It's amazing that even after dating for five years, I was so nervous that night," he says. The couple set the date for Labor Day weekend, exactly two years from their engagement, giving them plenty of time to pull off a beautiful outdoor wedding in the Smoky Mountains.
