Ashley Haley and Ben Washer made an instant connection after being set up by mutual friends. For Ashley’s birthday, Ben took her to Lake Grapevine to watch the sunset, where he pulled out his guitar and told Ashley he wanted to sing a song he’d written just for her. It quickly took a different turn, however, and the last two lines were, “This boy wants to see you at the altar, I want to know if you’ll be Ashley Washer.” Afterward, Ben got down on one knee, but Ashley said yes before he could even finish the question!
