As high school sweethearts who’d grown up in the same county and gone to school together all their lives, Ashley Gallivan and Clint Martin took a risk fairly early in their relationship. After dating in high school, the couple went off to separate colleges, several hours apart. “We always set aside time for each other on the weekends, but the weekdays were for our personal time -- when we could get stuff done and continue growing as individuals,” explains Ashley, now an elementary school teacher.
