Kelsey works in the food industry, so she collaborated with the caterer to make sure everything turned out the way she’d envisioned. The menu included firecracker barbecue country-style ribs, French fries, old-fashioned summer potato salad, hamburgers, and grilled Utah sweet corn on the cob.

The favors were super-personal: Kelsey and Robby filled vintage-style tins with their families’ favorite recipes. They ordered the tins online, added big, red, vinyl letters to the front of each, and printed the recipe cards themselves.

Barbecue Rehearsal Dinner

Kelsey and Robby went with a barbecue theme for their rehearsal picnic so their family and close friends would get comfortable with one another before the wedding day. The couple chose their favorite colors, red and robin’s egg blue, to be the party’s color combo. -- Jaimie Dalessio
