Breck thought she was just having drinks with a former co-worker, but that meeting with an old friend quickly lead to new love. Her colleague was in New York visiting family and brought her brother, Rob along to meet Breck. After cocktails, they went their separate ways, but Breck and Rob eventually ran into one another again on the street.
The Bride Breck Dickey, 32, works in TV ad sales
The Groom Rob Hassett, 31, mortgage banker
The Date April 21
They dated for two more years before Rob decided to propose on that same street where the couple's "second chance" meeting occurred. He got down on one knee in the middle of the intersection, and in a classic New York City moment, asked Breck to be his wife. In the midst of all the honking horns and cheering people, Breck said yes. It took fourteen months to plan their traditional Roman Catholic Wedding on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The two had walked by the church several times as other happy couples were leaving with their wedding parties. Breck and Rob knew that was where they would exchange vows as well.
