Garden urns with pink, ivory, and peach flowers adorned the altar area, while pink rose petals and wrought-iron stands with hanging glass hurricane candles marked the aisles. A string quartet, set up on the balcony of the house overlooking the ceremony space, provided the ceremony music as guests took their seats and the processional began.

The ceremony took place outdoors on the Taylor-Grady House grounds. As guests arrived at the ceremony, they were given sweet tea and lemonade to sip and programs that doubled as paper fans to keep cool in the warm summer air. “We even had four couples greeting guests as they arrived, to show our southern hospitality,” Carson says.

Carson & Rudy in Athens, GA

Six clues led Carson on a scavenger hunt from her apartment to her boyfriend Rudy, who was waiting to propose underneath the north campus Chapel bell at the University of Georgia (the two are avid Georgia football fans). The Bride Carson Brown, 24, teacher's assistant The Groom Rudy Weber, 27, consultant The Date June 10 When she said yes, their friends, who had been hiding in the bushes and trees, congratulated the two, and Carson rang the Chapel bell (a university tradition for any school or personal victories).
