They may look like cotton candy puffs, but Cassi was actually carrying lighter-than-air football mums. The bride chose them for their whimsical look.

Toasted coconut shavings gave the coconut cake a slight pink tone to match the rest of the decor. The shavings, which stuck out a bit from each layer, gave the cake a playful feel.

Cassi & David in Atlanta, GA

It was love at first ride for Cassi and David. Cassi, a high school freshman, saw "the cutest boy" asleep on the school bus a few seats in front of her. She threw an empty soda bottle near the sophomore to get his attention. David was annoyed to have been woken up, but the incident had blown over by the following week. The two became friends and stayed that way for a year before their first date to see American Pie 2. The Bride Cassilyn (Cassi) Bair, 22, mechanical engineer The Groom David Icenogle, 23, bioengineering graduate student The Date October 19 After high school, they both headed to Georgia Tech. During Cassi's senior year, the couple got lunch at their favorite restaurant and then walked around Piedmont Park. "It had just rained, and David wouldn't normally walk around in this weather, so I thought he would propose," but he didn't—until they went to Cassi's family's house to wash off the mud. David got down on one knee on the front porch. The couple decided to have a playful pink, gray, black and white wedding palette to reflect their young age.
