Denedra and Jeffrey chose to have their wedding at the St. Regis Hotel for their upscale setting, attention to detail throughout and the beautiful scenery. They accentuated the reception room with chiffon draping and up lighting to create a glamorous look.

Denedra and Jeffrey chose to have a fuller centerpiece on their table so that it could be easily identified as you walked into the reception room. Denedra says that “Fresh flowers made all the difference!” The flowers and the addition of the chiffon draping created a whimsical effect throughout the ceremony and the reception.

Denedra chose the color purple as the primary color for her wedding because it is her favorite color. She desired a color scheme that would be sophisticated yet playful. She was able to create a warm and welcoming ambience by incorporating candles, natural branches and an elegant and graceful color palette.

Denedra received quite a surprise when Jeff broke out with a break dance routine. They danced the night away to music from the 70’s and 80’s with family and friends.

Denedra and Jeffrey met at a birthday party while both were in active duty in the military stationed in Okinawa, Japan. While attending a friend’s wedding reception with permission from the Bride and Groom, Jeffrey proposed to Denedra.

When Denedra and Jeffrey started planning their wedding they were both stationed in different countries trying to plan a wedding in Houston, TX. Although most of the planning was from a far, Denedra was able to create a glamorous wedding by combining lighting, candles and her favorite color.
