A mutual friend introduced Elizabeth and Gavin while they were law students in Washington, DC. They ended up having their first dance at the school’s prom! Two-and-a-half years later, Gavin took Liz by surprise when he proposed on the beach at Sanibel Island. Afterward, the two walked into a local restaurant and Liz’s whole family was waiting to toast the newly engaged couple with champagne. Liz and Gavin chose North Miami Beach as their wedding locale so their out-of-town guests could turn the weekend into a fun-filled mini vacation. The pair used bold colors and elegant details to complement the rich history of the Spanish monastery where they said, “I do.”
