Event Designer Profile: Jung Lee, Fête

Who: Jung Lee of Fête Where: New York City Years in the wedding business: Six years. She started in real estate development and says it was a lot like planning a wedding: "You're managing lots of different vendors, and there's a budget you need to adhere to." Signature style: Fête weddings are all about creating experiences. They're visually stunning yet elegant, and not too over-the-top. Her method involves the ability to understand what aesthetics the couple wants by working closely with them. She then makes it a reality with her talented team. Secret weapon: Lee's knack for organization helps her deal with wedding day mishaps. "You've got to go into a wedding completely organized so you can focus on the problem at hand," she says. Best advice: In New York, there are so many ways to throw a wedding. It's all about being creative with your budget and thinking outside the box.
