The plum-colored blooms in Heather's bouquet popped against a background of all white roses, stephanotis and cymbidiums. Purple jewels were also added to give the arrangement some extra sparkle.

The bridesmaids carried an assortment of lavender roses, purple lisianthus and purple dendrobium orchids. The lighter purples complemented the dark, plum-colored dresses.

The four bridesmaids wore full-length plum-colored gowns with champagne sashes and matching shoes. The sweetheart necklines matched the bride's gown.

Heather walked down the aisle to "At Last" by Etta James. The couple recited traditional vows and recessed up the aisle to "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble.

One centerpiece was made of a tall cylinder vase with clusters of purple blooms and hanging crystals. The second centerpiece had three cylinder vases of varying heights holding floating candles, flowers and crystals.

The five-tiered carrot cake was decorated with small silver balls and had plum-colored ribbon wrapped around each tier. Each ribbon was accented with a purple crystal brooch.

Guests were treated to small boxes of hazelnut chocolates, as well as bottles of wine from a local New Jersey winery.

The night she met her future husband, Heather almost didn't leave the house. Her sorority sisters had to drag her to a fraternity party. When she saw Wari walk into the party, she immediately called dibs to her friends. Wari had the same initial reaction. After some orchestration by Heather's friends -- one of whom physically pushed Wari into Heather -- the two began dancing and talking, and the rest is history. Wari was enthusiastically welcomed into the family and the couple was soon married in an elegant ballroom ceremony.
