The guys sported attire chosen by the groom himself: white shirts, navy blazers, boat shoes, and khaki shorts. They accessorized with navy J.Crew ties dotted with red lobsters (a gift from the groom) and simple nautical knot boutonnieres (made by the bride’s dad).

A big white tent was strung with red paper lanterns and filled with round tables for the couple’s 78 guests. Each table was draped with a red-and-white-striped overlay and topped with three mason jars filled with white roses, white lisianthuses, and white hydrangeas.

The bride drew table numbers on white-framed chalkboards that were propped up against the mason jars. Red pails were also on hand to collect the shells from lobsters (the main course!).

Jen & Gabe in Stockton Springs, ME

A quintessential New England proposal inspired Jen and Gabe's New England destination wedding. While vacationing in Maine on the Fourth of July, Gabe chose a picture-perfect moment on the beach to propose to Jen. Afterward, the Orlando-based couple had a lobster-and-lemonade celebratory lunch. The Bride Jen Gabel, 28, a hotel sales manager The Groom Gabe Isham, 28, a national sales manager The Date June 4 Jen and her mom immediately jumped into wedding planning and booked a restored historic home in Maine just a week later. The result: a red-and-white-striped celebration, complete with a lobster bake.
